Question I have a question about flood control...

I typed a responce to a thread...

Then I wanted to start another thread...

I did this too fast, and got the "90 second" message.

So I clicked the back button...and my original message was gone! This was a small thread, so I retyped it easily, but I have had this happen before to me when I have typed out larger posts.

Someone said that this site is "cached"? And that it stores what I type. How do I get what I originally typed back when this happens?

That used to happen to me on the "old board" - but it's never happened on the new format.
Could be really maddening if a long reply was there.......
Mabye there's something you can do with your internet options to correct this?

If you are ever typing a long post, type it in Word or something. A few times ill be typing a reply and ill hit backspace to correct something when the cursor isnt in the box. Go ahead, try it.

I think it has something to do with IE's settings or how the boards cookies are installed on your PC...
