Is it possible to actually download any of the videos posted on this site? I can view them just fine, but I would like to download some of them. Just wondering if it was possible.

 

Long story short...No.

There is a pay-for software that will help you out with it, but I'm yet to find anything free that can....

 

yeah, there's no way you can do it as it is right now........it sucks cuz some of those vids are awesome and I wanted them for my collection on my hard drive.

I really think you guys should look into making your own video section and dump Vidiac....but thats just me. I wonder if there is a place that I can petition Vidiac to allow downloads....

 

The same goes for big downloaded video files.

We have known the guys behind Vidiac for about 10 years, we are pretty happy with them. Besides, we don't have the time to make something like that.

As for big files...check out orb.com, you can stream just about any video from your home connection using a simple website, pretty cool, I use it to watch my downloaded TV shows while at work

As for them not allowing downloads, its only a matter of time before someone releases a software for free that will capture flash videos (and hopefully compress it to a better format) so its no big deal.
