I've been away from the board for awhile due to not modding or anything to my car b/c of marriage anyways my question is do we have to be a supporting memeber now to have an avatar?

and also i noticed on some other boards that they have pics in there sig. and one even has a section that has a video buffet where everyone post vids of there cars

i was wondering why our board here doesn't participate in this.....is it server issues...keeping it clean issues or what


just an idea that i figured would attract more ppl to our board

 

I'm sure you can still buy an avatar for $5. For $10 though you can get the supporting member thing and be able to change your avatar whenever you want. I'm all for supporting the site.

As for images in sigs and stuff... it would use a lot more bandwidth on the server for one if they hosted sig images off the server. If they let people just link them, then broken image links would be common. Text only sigs are just cleaner and less unnecessary clutter on the forum IMO.
