2 am trouble? Site freezes. Anyone else?

I remember a couple months ago, Myself and a couple others would be in the chat room at about 1-2 am. The site would freeze. They noticed it too.

I have been up late, working late, and it's still doing it. The site seems to freeze up around 2 am. Even just browsing the forums.

Anyone else have this problem?

The system runs backup at that time every night. That is what you are experiencing.

Like chis said the site goes through the daily update then. It seems that after about 15 min from 4 am est you can post in the lounge again but if you click on the regional or appearence sections they still freeze up. Im guessing that during the site update it automaticaly moves post that are so old and unupdated to the archive. Thus the different sections not working at different times.
