Post ZFX Question!! And More Questions!!

Okay heres another Zaino question

Okay,
If I put a coat of Z2 or Z5 on it takes about 30mins for them to cure right???

But with ZFX it cures almost instantly. So If I start with the front of the car by the time im done doing the back the front should be fine to remove..

Here my steps!
Wash the car with dawn

Use the clay bar with meguires wash

Was the car with dawn again

Apply Z6 to the whole car

Apply Z2 wait till its cured and remove
Apply Z2 again, wait till its cured then remove

Apply Z6 to the whole car

Apply Z5 wait till its cured then remove
do that 2 more times

Apply Z2 wait till its cured then remove
do that one more time

Apply Z6 to the whole car

done!!

Its that right???

Also you get two mixing jars right..

you dump Z2 into one and Z5 into another and add 5drops of ZFX into each and shake for 90secs, let them sit for 5mins shake again and begin use right???

Curing and drying are 2 different things, but you are right that WITH the ZFX additive the part where you started is basically dry by the time you finish applying it, IF you apply it as thin as recommended. With the ZFX there is ZERO curing time, thus the ability to apply back to back applications.

The finger swipe test will tell you if it is completely dry. If it removes cleanly, its dry, if it still smears even slightly, let it dry longer.

Wash, clay, rewash, then polish sounds like you have the prep work down. I also Z-6 BEFORE I apply a coat of polish just to make sure there are no small water spots, dust or whatever.

As long as you use the ZFX with each application you can do back to back applications, BUT Sal recommends a max of 3 coats a day with the ZFX. If you don't use the ZFX ypou need to wait from 6 - 24 hours (depending on temp) for the polish to cure, after dried and removed, before adding another coat of polish.

You can mix and match Z-2 or Z-5 whenever and do a light claying whenever an area needs it. A complete claying is a good idea after the winter weather breaks.

Got another question for ya..

Sal says 3 coats with the ZFX in a 24 hour period. Does that mean no more than 3 coats Of Zaino in 24hours or no more than 3 coats of each Zaino product in 24 hours..

I plan on putting 6 coats of Z2 and 6 coats of Z5 on, does that mean I have to put 3 coats of Z2 one day then 3 coats of Z5 the next then 3 coats of Z5 again the day after and then 3 Coats of Z2 the day after that!!

hope that didnt confuse you to much

Here a break down

Day 1 - 3 Coats Z2
Day 2 - 3 Coats Z5
Day 3 - 3 Coats Z5
Day 4 - 3 Coats Z2

Or 2 coats of Z-5 and 1 coat of Z-2 in a day.

You have the idea, it is 3 coats of polish, with ZFX, per day, whether it is with Z-2 or Z-5 or mixed.
