Zfx

I just applied my 2 coats of ZFX, my question is how long can I wait until I can apply Z-2? Since I used Z-6 after I was done with the ZFX, should I spray it with Z-6 before Z-2? Thanks

I am a little confused...

You actually mix the ZFX in with the Z2... so it becomes one step... the ZFX does not go onto the car by itself.

I should have clarified it, my ZFX dried out, and I just wanted to know if I had to wait to put on Z-2 by itself.

In your fisrt post above you said you applied "2 coats of ZFX". What did you mean by this???

As a practice I always Z-6 an area before I apply the polish, just to make sure there is no water spots, dust, pollen, etc.

I first washed my car with liquid dishwashing detergent, then I used the Z-18 Claybar, then I Z-7 the car twice, because after the first time, dust got all over the car, because of a very very short wind storm, I washed it again, and then I mixed Z-2 with the ZFX dropper. I applied two coats of that, before it dried out.

After the 2 coats of the Z-2/ZFX mix you could actually apply a coat of the Z-2 right after removing the Z-2/ZFX second layer. The layer of Z-2 without the ZFX will take longer to dry and you'll have to wait for it to cure before adding the next coat of Z-2.
