FINALLY recieved my ZFX!!!
After an unusually long 8 day wait, my ZFX arrived today along with additional Z5 that I was running low on. I have been waiting for this with anxious hands, so let me get right to it:
I applied it on my Civic today in approximately 33* weather. It has been foggy all day, so the humidity also slowed the process with the cold.
I mixed the Z5 with the ZFX as per the instructions, waited 5 minutes and then started applying it.
I noticed that the Z5 applied a little more easily and evenly than without the ZFX. But the real difference was the drying time. I waited 15 minutes and it was ready to take off, this in cold cold weather! I was surprised it dried so quickly!
Since the curing time is greatly accelerated with it, I was able to immediately apply another coat, and then another for a total of 3 in one hour. Not bad!
Now I will wait and see how much longer the protection lasts with ZFX mixed in.
I was initially shocked that I paid 20 bucks for such a small bottle of the stuff (it's about the size of a quarter) but I do keep in mind that I will probably get 25 coats out of it, and I will no longer have to purchase/use the smelly Z1
.
I am very pleased so far, which is not surprising to me. Zaino has been great for me and my family, so hopefully ZFX lives up to the other products!

Good Review! I probably won't get around to trying ZFX until Spring, so until then I'm looking forward to hearing the reviews. I have no doubts that it'll be a great product though.
You mentioned possibly greater protection with the ZFX mixed in. The real benefit IMHO is being able to apply up to 3 coats a day. Now that's protection! Anyhow, good to hear you had good results so far.

You noticed some of the same things when I first started helping test it out. One other thing I noticed when I was testing it was the reflection seemed more detailed. It does make it even more durable as well.

Sounds like a great new product from them, but I'll miss the hours worth of beer drinking while waiting on the first coat to dry
