Post Z1 question?

I've claybared two of my Camaro's one Silver the other Black, put on the Z1 on the silver. Really had a hard time seeing it being applied, just figured that's because the car is silver. Used the Z1 on the Black and still had a difficult time seeing it. I'm not skimping on this either, my applicator is wet w/ the Z1. Is this Normal?
I 'm just second geussing myself and wanna make sure I'm doing this correctly.

It is difficult to see, especially on certain colors. Look at the bottle and see how much of it you used. It will only take 1 oz. to do the entire car. It does go on in very thin layers. If the pad is damp with the Z-1 and you are covering all the areas you are probably OK. For a first time with a car I usually go over it with Z-1 on the third polishing application again just to make sure, in case i missed any areas with the first application.

Perfect! that is how Z-1 is supposed to work, all Z-1 has to do is make contact with the paint in a micro micro thin layer, if you see any you used too much. Also, if you apply Z-1 with a damp pad, sometimes the results will not be what you want as the Z-1 sheds water, I like to put Z-1 on with a dry pad.
