Winter Storage???

Winter Storage???
I have a 97 Z28 and I live in Cheyenne, WY where it gets snowy and freezing during the winter, my questions is do you guys recommend that I store my vehicle in a garage?? The reason I’m asking is because I don’t have a garage, but if needed I can always rent a storage space and park it. If I don’t store it in storage I plan on putting a car cover on it and placing it on blocks. The winters out here are pretty extreme it usually gets to about -5 and it snows a few feet. Also what steps should I take to ensure that the car stays in good working order? I plan on starting it and letting it idle at least once a month.

Depends on how good of condition your car is in and how much you care for it. I'd recommend removing any chrome wheels (tend to pit with moisture), covering it, checking the coolant mixture, and putting it on a battery tender / disconnecting the battery though.

The cars exterior is in excellent condition and I love the car! I want to keep it and fix the little things that it has wrong, but I know that I will have to put her away for winter, I dont know if placing the car on block would be helpfull, but I have seen how tires get cracked in the cold when they loose air and the weight crushes them then the side walls get cracked
