Thumbs up Will joy be an equal substitute to dawn?

i don't have any dawn and don't feel like going out to get any........so will joy or palmolive be a good substitute? also.....will washing will this expose my clercaot at all...cause i don't plan on waxing afterwards therefore i won't have a barrier over the joy......so can i just use joy and thats it..nothing afterwards or do you have to apply something afterwards?

If you are not planning on waxing after you wash with dish soap, I have to ask the burning question, What are you trying to accomplish?

Yes, your clearcoat will be exposed due to you washing whatever you had on top of it off. You really should put some type of protection on your car. Don't just leave it bare so the sun can ruin it.
