Post Waxing the zaino...

Had my car in to get some scuffs wet-sanded out (some bastards nailed the rear bumper with something in a parking lot) and even though I told them not to, I think the guys at the shop tossed on a coat of eagle wet wax. Am I going to have to dawn the whole car again if I want to do any more coats of zaino? Grrrr..

Definately, I can smell the fresh wax on the paint...argh. Is this going to pull off my existing zaino? I had 6 or 7 coats of z5 and a coat or two of z2 on there. The swirls were just finally filling in...

The dish detergent wash might get rid of the wax.

You definately will want to DAWN the car to remove the wax. You don't want anything between the Zaino and the paint. I would also Clay the car to make sure you get everything off. This process will not remove the zaino if you have multiple coats on it. The wetsanding did though! You will also want to Z1 that area (unless you use ZFX) Before you use the Z2/Z5.

Eagle one contains cleaners and abrasives, yes it more than likely removed your Zaino, you have to start from square one, dawn, clay, and re Zaino.
