Warning to those who will use ZFX

You get the ZFX and the cute little bottles to mix it in. The instructions say 4-5 drops for one ounce, no more than 10 drops for 2 ounces. Well, unless you plan on putting on a LOT of coates, DO NOT mix 2 ounces. I got mine friday. I bought my grand caravan in Dec., and my Cherokee in Jan., so i hadnt had a chance to really clean them up. I dawn washed and clayed the van. Then i mixed up ONE ounce of Z2 with the ZFX. That one ounce was good for 3 coats on my van and two coats on my PT.
That was on saturday. Sunday i dawn washed and clayed my 88 cherokee with 231K miles on it. I did use a Meguirs cleaner on the hood, as it seemed a tad oxidized. The zaino even made that old POS look great. I do like this stuff!

Thumbs up

Sounds good!!

I agree too about mixing all 2 ounces. If I mixed the entire mixing bottle, I would be there all day/night trying to use it up and would end up with much more than 3 coats. I normally mix 1/2 an ounce or up to one ounce. When I first used ZFX last year sometime, I mixed the whole 2 ounces and ended up trying to find things to ZFX with all the leftovers!

Well, it's time for my weekly ZA meeting to help with the addiction.......Zaino Anonymous.....

Keep em clean!
