Question Turtle Wax Chenille Mits vs. Viking Chenille Mits

I was in Wal-Mart the other day to get some new Viking wash mits, but the only ones they had were some made by Turtle Wax, they didn’t even have a spot for the Vikings anymore. The Turtle Wax mits were white chenille, just like the Viking ones, but they had an elastic wrist band and felt much softer than the Vikings.

Are these safe to use on my car? Better yet, what other places still sell the Viking wash mits? I have one good Viking wash mit left and would hate to have to switch to what could be an inferior mit when this one gets old.

I've looked both of them over, and they look to be comparable. I wouldn't be afraid to use one.

Tuck the elastic band into the mit.
