I was at a local auto store and they had "Duplicolor" brand touch up paint. Unfortunately, silver for my 96 was not available. Can I get a small bottle from GM directly and how much would it cost, seeing how the ones in the store are about $2.50. Thanks.

Did you look in the Duplicolor book at the parts store? just because they did not have it on the shelf means nothing, of course it would not be possible to stock all colors for all makes for all years, find the correct color in the book and get them to order it using the Duplicolor code.

Also, any GM car color can be ordered at a GM parts counter if you provide them the year of your car and make, also the paint code from the sticker on the car itself.

Expect to pay more than 2.50 for the GM part.

Try going to any local bodyshop and asking for some touch up.They should have no promblem and if don't doesn't hurt to ask.That what a lot of people do at the shop i work at and they hook them up.

Try an auto paint and body supply store,they can usually mix any color in any quantity if they don't have it in stock.
