Post the t bar on my t tops lost its luster?

look all the way to the right and you can see where it is shiny like it should be.

I dont know what is is. I have tried waxing it many times, using some fine rubbing compound(like a scratch remover), and just plain old buffing it out. Any ideas? Also notice its just at the front and back, not in the middle(?).

If you can, try a couple coats of Zaino Z-2. Mine used to have a bit of a dull finish on it as well (not as pronounced as yours though). The Z-2 has helped it tremendously.
