Angry Spray paint on car!!!!!!

Ok, long story short...There is a small, VERY THIN layer of black spray paint on my roof section. The paint is black also but the spay paint has a sparkle to it, and in the sun, I can see it pretty well. It does not cover the entire roof, just a few spots.

Also, a little bit got onto the front and rear windshield, at the tops. Once again, a very thin layer, and only in some spots.

The spray paint is simple all purpose 'Rustoleum'.

It has been on the car about a month or so, I did not notice, cause car was unwashed for a while cause I did not have time to clean it.

I saw a commercial for "the professionals" car cleaner kit, they used a cleaner wax that cleaned off burnt on spray paint.

Help me please, and thank you!

Mother's or Clay Magic clay bar

Clays will remove paint overspray if it's fresh, not sure about bonded paint though. Anyway, clay would be my first choice. My second choice would be an abrasive paint cleaner. Cleaner waxes do provide some light to moderate abrasive cleaning ability, but they don't specialize in paint cleansing. A more specialized cleansing product would serve you well if the clay didn't do the trick. Follow with your favorite wax for shine and protection...

Good Luck!

Hi...sorry to hear about your car. I had some overspray from when I painted my calipers and I used the clay bar to get it out. My girlfriend's car always gets overspray from the Navy ship painting they do by her office and that takes it out too. I would try the claybar before anything really expensive. Good luck
