somewhat urgent- can mothers fx be layered?

somewhat urgent- can mothers fx be layered?

got the car washed already and then i'm gonna clean it and polish it
so i'm looking for an answer somewhat soon if you can (yea i know, i get up at like 8 in the morning to wash my car )
just wondering if fx can be put on more than once

No....waxes/sealants contain solvents (especially liquids), which will remove any previous layer.

It probably is a cleaner wax, Forrest with Mothers could tell you more. Mothers California Gold has a version that has no cleaners. And cleaner waxes will not layer, but that is not to say that two coats will not benefit the car, it may even make it better, slicker, and have more shine if you do two coats especially if the car has not been waxed or polished in a while.
