I just got my car and there is a chip in the hood and it has started to rust. I t is only surface rust and it is right on the corner, so would I be able to get some touch up paint and have it look descent. If this doesn't work, I will just get the whole car painted in the spring when I get my ground effects.

 

Hmmm, rust repairing isn't my specialty, but I'll try to help. First, I'd try to remove the rust, then you might try those Langka or Mother's chip repair kits. You basically blob the paint over the chip, let it dry, then sand it down to match the level of the rest of the paint surface. Or, I know there is a DIY chip repair process, but I don't have the link. I think KevinSS has a good link, maybe he'll post.
