Removing adhesive on plastic?
Removing adhesive on plastic?
I bought a new ram air box from another member and it has some adhesive on it. The adhesive seems to have been applied in a sloppy manner by GM and I am wanting to remove it. Here are a few pictures of what I am talking about.

I figured that I could use Goop Off (sp?) but the bottle says not to use on plastics. Any suggestions as to what might remove the adhesive w/o discoloring or damaging the plastic?
Thanks

Re: Removing adhesive on plastic?
Wow, thats a new one......! I usually use a citrus based cleaner. Last week I had to remove my DVD player from my wall mount TV/DVD holder. Naturally, they suggest you use 2 sided tape to keep it from sliding. So I had to remove the two sided tape, apply new tape, and put it back together. I easily removed the adhesive goo with WD-40 ! This was on metal thoug, but i believe its gentle enough for plastic. (Grab a milk carton if doubt exists to demo)
