I just washed my car, and i want to know if i have to use Z1 before the Z5. A couple months ago i put 9 coats on the car, but the towells were not that great. I'm about to do the Z5 with the GOOD towells. I have ZFX, but i heard that if you use Z1, you don't have to re-apply it until you put on ten more coats of zaino. So, can i just put straight Z5 on now, or should i use the ZFX?

One of two things:

1. If you are using Z-1, it is used at the first Zaino application and then once every 6 months for a daily driver and 1 time per 12 months for a show car. Using Z-1 after every 10 coats is just to lock the system back together, it is not a have to do case by any means.

2. If you have ZFX, it TOTALLY eliminates the Z-1, you will never use Z-1 again. Same application time spans apply with ZFX as it did with Z-1. But some are using ZFX with every coat just for kicks and if you want to do more than one coat in a day.
