putting regular wax over zaino???

k, quick ?? please i gotta get me some zaino again soon, the cars got a couple coats on already, but i wont have some for another week or two. if i put some mothers or meguiars on it for now, will i need to "strip" all the wax again for when i get my next batch of zaino? i use zfx with it btw. personally, i think itll be fine. but if not, i dont wanna have to take it all off and start the process over again. thanks

You will wash your car with Dawn before applying Zaino, the Dawn will remove any waxes or silicone oils on your car.

I would not apply the Meguiar's or Mother's wax on for now, because when you apply the Zaino later there could be some bonding issues with the Zaino. Even if you do a DAWN wash it may not remove every last trace of wax, especially since it's a very fresh coat. If you left the Meguiar's or Mother's on for about a month then did the Dawn wash, I think you'd be fine.

All I'm trying to get at is that you're just creating more work and potential problems by applying the wax before Zaino. You'd actually save yourself more work by just waiting a little longer for the Zaino to arrive, and then just apply it to a fresh unwaxed surface.

This is pretty much why I haven't even tried to do this...

To be honest, I think Zaino shines as well as or better than anything I've used anyway... so I wouldn't do it, but Slash has a situation by being out of product... but I'd just hold off until your order comes in.

Why not just wait until you can get more Zaino? Kinda making more work for yourself then necessary slapping wax on there now, aren't you?
