So I want to paint under my car, I was going to take the K-Member off and the rear off when I do this, I don't have a lift and I don't have a rottissere, I have a 40 X 40 Garage, Most things that you would have in there, Any Ideas of what I could do? Some how need to get one side up and clean get the other side up and clean, get the other side up again and paint, then go back to the other side and paint, with the rear and the K-member off, what can I put under there to hold on the one side while I lift up the other? I really don't want to put the car up on blocks and try to paint while laying on my back..

 

If you are going to expend that much effort, my opinion would be to use POR-15 as the paint material.

 

I would love to use POR-15 on the bottom of the car..

Does it come in Fire Engine Red?

 

Hardnose 2-part comes in dark red and light red. You could blend in between. Its best for painting over paint, and very hard.

Engine enamel comes in Chevy Red and Ford Tbird red.

You POR15 a basecoat on bare metal, then topcoat for ultimate coverage. But the topcoats also work over paint and still give you a very hard paint.
