need help quick

I plan on washing my car today and the paint is prolly around a month and a half old, about 2 weeks ago, I used what the body shop had told me to use, glaze number 7 a pure polish...well this stuff bites, it provides no protection, and does not even bead water, lastly there is no difference in shine...what can I pick up at the store that will provide some protection, and will give a nice shine? Oh and a few nights ago, someone sat on my hood when I was at a party, wearing jeans..scratched it up a litte bit, not deep at all, cant even feel it, just can see it under certain conditions, what can I get that will take this off?

Try some swirl remover on the hood.

If you want the absolute best paint protection, one word, Zaino. Period.

I'm the one who got him hooked, so I second the notion.
