Need detailing advice

How do you apply your wax/other cleaning products? Up/Down or circle motions?

What do you use clean your T-Tops?

What do you use to DRY your car off after washing? I am getting a bunch of conflicting advice from friends..So i figured i would get outside opinions .

One last thing, for winter storage what would you advise doing..draingin all fluids and putting a car cover on?

Thanks

With Zaino, I go from front to back on the top parts of the car and from top to bottom on the sides. That is the best way to get the most shine and optical clarity of the car.

When I had my Z, I just used Clear Vue glass cleaner and rain X to prevent hard water spots.

You should use 100% cotton towells, made in USA. Brands like Fieldcrest and Cannon are the best. Only use white and cut off the sides. Non liquid bleach and no drying sheet for cleaning.

I will pass on that question.

1. I wax my car doing a circular moting all over.

2. I actually use wax on the outer t-top glass, and all my windows. It works pretty good. Takes away water spots, and acts just like rain x in rain. When i don't wax the car, i just use a any automotive window cleaner. Then i use either tire shine, or mothers back to black, and shine the black plastic part around the t-tops. (tire shine can also be used to shine the black area around your headlight. It looks really good)

3. I use a chamoi(sp) I usually go over the car once, and get most of the water off, then i go over again and try to get it as dry as possible to prevent water spots.

4. Im not really sure about this question since i don't store my car. Its my only car.

Give the car a good cleaning.Change your oil, place it on jackstands.Remove the battery, cover it up with a car cover, don,t start it up ,you do more damage to it than good.No need to drain any fluids.
