Re: need advice for caliper paint
I blended Duplicolor blue caliper paint with their silver caliper paint. It came out an awesome pearlescent blue color.
When I saw the color of your car, I knew it would work for you.
This picture doesn't do the color any justice. If you're interested in seeing more, I'll take another picture.

Awesome color i'll take your advice on that and your calipers look totally amazing.
I really appreciate your kind words chevy 16. They are C6 Motorsports rims 18 fronts and 19 rears. My car is NOT lowered someone chopped it for me.

Perfect color. So you mixed to colors together or did silver first and then did blue? When you did the first coat, did you let it sit for 30 mins and then did the second one?

I started with the blue, and the color blue that they sell is horrible. It's so rice boy I wanted to vomit. So then it was a change of plan, and I decided to forget the CAMARO script and just paint it over with silver.
I had allowed the blue to dry for an entire 24 hours, yet when I started painting over it with the silver, the paint started smearing and running together on the caliper... Which I wasn't expecting given the 24 hours I had allowed the blue to dry. I ran with it though, and kept going until the colors blended into this awesome color.
The weird thing was that it came out the exact type color I had always wanted, but is never offered in caliper paint. That time it happened by accident... Next time I'm going to try mixing them together right from the start in a can; which will be soon - I'm getting ready to upgrade to a performance brake setup.
Re: need advice for caliper paint
I'd lower the car and then upgrade the brakes. Usually I wouldn't draw attention to calipers and stock brake hardware with those big wheels.
But either way, I think that color Nate has is sick. Definately do something like that.
