Post If you have never used a clay-bar...read this.

Back in december my girlfriend bought me the complete lineup of all the Zaino brothers goodies. (cool of her huh?) Anyways....since it was winter i just got around to using the claybar today.

My car is cleaner than my plates that just went throught the dish washer. It gets washed every 3rd day, and waxed every other week. The paint felt smooth all the time.

Then i used the clay bar. Oh my god!!!! A new definition of smooth came about. Glass like smooth, unbelievable. That bar is AWESOME. In the bar, I never could see any dirt, but you could feel it being picked up.

Just put on some WET wax, b/c no time to do all the steps of Zaino for right now. But it still looks sooo much better, and this to a car that already had a show-like shine. WOW! Cant wait to try out the Zaino waxes

Yes, clay bars are awesome, everyone should have one. I think you are over estimating the work and time with Zaino, put Z-1 on and leave it on, put Z-2 on top of Z-5. Then after that use Z-1 every 6 months for a daily driver and once per year for a show car or garage queen. After you do the Z-1, Zaino works exactly like others waxes and polishes, polish on and rub polish off.

BTW, Zaino contains ZERO wax.

Good to hear you had nice results with the clay. I agree, clay is an amazing product when used properly and every serious detailer needs a few in their collection!

Since you applied the Eagle1 wax, be sure to wash with DAWN soap first to remove all of it before you begin Zainoing. I agree with Kevin though, it's very easy to apply a coat of Z1+Z2. You don't remove the Z1, you apply Z2 or Z5 on top, usually goes pretty quickly. The longest part would be waiting for it to dry, but it depends on your conditions.

BTW, does you g/f have a sister!? j/k LOL!

I knew Zaino wasnt a wax...just couldnt think of "polish" at the time of writing the post...lol.

As for it not taking that long...i wasnt sure how long it would take to dry. Its about 60º outside...but really humid, so i didnt want to get into "polishing" and still be waiting for it to dry 3 hours later.

And no my g/f doesnt have a sister....damn...three some came to mind for a second hehe

Thanks guys
