How to get 3m SWR off black plastic

My 3M SWR got on the black plastic part that holds the windshield wipers on a 95 ta. Its got two big white spots from where i accidently hit it with the buffer, how do I get it off? Washing it didnt work

Try rubbing alcohol. Zaino Z-16 tire gloss also works pretty well.

Well, first, I'd second Kevin's idea. But, if you hit it with the buffer while using an abrasive, it may have taken the black finish right off the plastic, leaving the white spots. If you took the black off, you'll probably need a permanent dye based product to make it black again. If Kevin's idea doesn't do the trick, you may have indeed taken the finish off.
