Post How can I get the scratches off my side windows?

I've got some minor scratches on my driver and passenger side windows. It's from the windows going up and down. I can see the line on them so apparently they are rubbing against something. Anyway, can I get the scratches off? Maybe a class polish or something? Thanks.

If you can hang your finger nail in the scratch, they can not removed more than likely. I use Zaino Z-12 glass polish.

The scratches aren't that bad. I don't have any Zaino though, can you recommend anything that can be bought at a local store? Thanks.

how do you fix those and how much does it cost? Do you have to take it to the dealer or is it easy to do it yourself? Let me know, I wouldnt feel too comfortable doing it myself, but if it is really easy I might try it. Thanks

I had that problem as well, had both my windows replaced for free under a TSB back in '97. As mentioned, it had something to do with the guideplates.
