Post Have any Zaino users tried Blackfire?

How do you like it? How does it compare with Zaino? I am a Zaino user with about 70 coats on a garage queen and will be trying Blackfire(BF) over the Zaino. Spoke with CMA and there is not problem with topping Zaino with BF. Has anyone tried this procedure?
Thanks in advance.

Love Zaino... just looking to experiment and maybe deepen the appearance of Zaino on a black finish.

Who ever you talked to does not know anything about Zaino, if the Blackfire has any cleaners or abrasives (it probably is a cleaner wax) it will strip the Zaino. If per chance it does not have any cleaners or abrasives you will not be able to apply any more Zaino to the car and have it stick to the surface without washing the car with Dawn to remove the BF.

FWIW, I recently tried Platinum UPP over Zaino. Platinum and BF are VERY similar, nuff said. The shine and depth were pretty good actually, but two things struck me that I wasn't so thrilled about. One, I noticed a loss of clarity, big time. The sharper reflections now appeared distorted and fuzzy from an angle. And, two, from certain angles, there appeared to be a slight dullness. So, my impression is that Platinum/BF are decent products, but not ones that I'd use as a mainstay on my car. The extra depth/gloss from UPP simply was not worth it IMHO. Also, the reason for the loss of clarity is probably due to the high silicone content from the UPP. And, I suspect the partial dullness was caused by mild abasives. I'd rate BF/Plat more closely with Liquid Glass than Zaino. YMMV, but another one bites the dust...I simply can't find a product that outperforms or even matches Zaino!
