well i got my door ding fix from the pontiac body shop and they repainteed the whole door bottom below the door molding.. when i look at the car is was nice it was good work on it...but when i got home i notice the paint line under the door molding which i was pissed now u can that the car has been repainted...i thought that all body shops remove the door molding before they paint the bottom half of the door so it will all blend in and so u wont se that paint line which is ugly....any suggestions...

I had the same problem with my '88 Camaro. They didn't even remove the trim tape, just masked it off.


I worked in a rather less than professional bodyshop for a few months, but even they didn't do crap like that.
