Flitz is GREAT stuff!!!!
I have also heard that Zaino metal polish is good too, but that's probably the ONLY product I haven't used in this application.
Since I got back from a 5.5 month deployment my windows were etched HARD with water spots. I've been busting my ***** on this for a couple months now and have bought and tried just about anything I can get my hands on to cut it.
The best way I've found was to use a plain dry #00 steel wool pad.
But the other day I found a vendor at a Fair that was selling this stuff called Flitz. This stuff really works! I didn't have to rub any harder with it than I normally do when cleaning windows with Windex and a paper towel or newspaper. Water spots came right off.
This stuff can supposedly be used on ANY type of metal, fiberglass, etc..
It's pretty expensive ($18 a tube) but worth the money spent.
