engine bay?????

Im a detailer and am proud of the work i do. But how in the f do you clean the motor and the rest of the engine bay.
I know you can clean around the engine and use degreaser but i want me underhood area as clean as the rest of the car.
What do you guys do? This question i have previously addressed but never have had a good solution or a real answer. Help!
Please help

i have a 94 z28 camaro and i been researching on cleaning the engine bay. I have heard that LT1s are famous for misfiring from water getting into places, and the distrubtors going bad from the water. I have heard of people saying they have pressure washed it and everything is fine but if you think about it its a bad idea because you may force water where its not suppost to go. The main solution i have heard of is to steam or use a light mist to clean it and use a degreaser like simple green and everything works great i recently did this on my car and everything was fine.

I just wipe it off. I have been doing it for 13 years, It still looks good. I polish stuff a few times a year, armorall once in awhile, maybe dust on occasion, I have OCD,(obcessive compulsive dissorder) That helps too. I used to dry it every time I washed it, until I built a garage. Now I just have to maintain. Thank god. Check it out in my sig.

I forgot to mention wax, I wax it too. It cleans up alot easier if it is waxed.

Last year I replaced water pump, headers and many other things. When I was done I had to clean the engine bay, so I went to the local carwash, put a sheet of plastic over the engine making sure to tuck it down around the engine, and I sprayed down the compartment with degreaser. I power washed it, pulled off the plastic, started it up and off I went. It ran fine.
