egine and engine bay are

What r the best product to use whn it comes to cleaning the engine andbay itself...how about rubber gloss...whats the best??

I use 'Simple Green', mixed 50/50 w/ water, in a spray bottle and clean the engine bay by hand. Anything that is painted, I follow up with a coat of wax. Haven't used any "protoectant" on the rubber.
