Just curious what people are using to shine and seal/protect their dash I refuse to use armor all since I've had bad experiences in the past with dry rotting ......

Re: Dash

I'v never had a problem with armor all, I just use this stuff in a yellow and red spray can called Tough Stuff to clean the interior and then I wipe on the armor all to protect it. Those two together work great IMO.

Re: Dash

Armor All is good if you want to get a new dashpad quickly. We used it on our 00 Sierra and by 02 rolled around half of the dash was cracked...awesome stuff

I use Meguiars rubber/vinyl dressing. Comes in a tan bottle, clearly says what its for. Spray it on the dash and wipe away with a micro-fiber towel. I kinda like my dash being dirty, because when it gets sunny...i can see my dash 3/4 of the way on my windshield because of the reflection...kinda sucks.

Re: Dash

I use Meguiars vinyl protectant, it actually makes the vinyl dash softer and it smells nice, too. And I agree with the Armor All comments, my dad had a buick with a vinyl top, and it shrank and cracked after a few short months in the Texas heat.

Re: Dash

I use the meguiars wipes. Leather for the seats, and vinyl/plastic for the dash and panels. Works great and I think it smells pretty damn good too.

Re: Dash

I think they spray bottle cost me around $6 (bottle is the same size as a windex spray bottle, etc.)

I use Zaino Z-9 leather cleaner and Z-10 leather conditioner on the dash, it works great.

Re: Dash

Yeah, the wipes are about $5-6 depending on where you buy. I get mine at wal-mart. Autozones/Advanced Auto tend to be more expensive on the waxes, soaps, etc.
