Clearcoat Peeling

My clearcoat appears to be peeling on my back bumper behind my rear tire. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Cause I can't afford a whole paintjob

Not positive, but I would assume a painter could sand the clear coat off in that area and spray some new on. It might not look perfect, but certainly better than without any work done.

pull the bumper and drop it off to a shop. Get it done right.

I wet sanded the area smooth and then used 3M rubbing compound to bring the area back to a high luster. I then buffed the area and waxed it. You can't tell the difference. It takes a lot of effort but can be done. BTW, this was done on a black car so I don't know how the results will be for other colors.

On these instructions, I did this on my girlfriend's car - it's a beige Civic and though I can't say it's totally invisible, I can say that it is much, MUCH better than before. I suppose if I had dedicated myself a bit more, I could have made it completely invisible.
