Clearcoat Peeling

Clearcoat Peeling
My clearcoat appears to be peeling on my back bumper behind my rear tire. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Cause I can't afford a whole paintjob

nope....i have the same problem on my hood. i had a rock come up and put a decent sized rock chip on my hood scoop and now the clear coat is peeling and its spreading like the plague. Just get the panel repainted

I wet sanded the area smooth and then used 3M rubbing compound to bring the area back to a high luster. I then buffed the area and waxed it. You can't tell the difference. It takes a lot of effort but can be done. BTW, this was done on a black car so I don't know how the results will be for other colors.
