cleaning polished wheels...

hey whats up guys, quick question for ya! its actually true my car should be off of jackstands by this weekend for the first time since february. woo-hoo! anyways my car is in dire need of cleaning, its the dustiest that it has ever been and my wheels are hit up with tons of dust. so hopefully soon i will break out the Zaino for the first time! so my question is...my wheels are clear coated so should i just wash and clay them just like the car? also should i just apply Zaino to the wheels as well. if there is any specific procedure for cleaning and polishing the wheels such as a certain amount of coats for the Zaino on them i would appreciate any help you guys can offer! Thanks in advance!

Not really, but the I would wash the wheels with car wash and water, then clay bar them and make note of the piece of clay you use and never use it again on other painted surfaces, and then just Zaino polish all you want.

Wenol is a great polish for wheels too. It's the same stuff as pilots use on their planes to get them nice and shiny. You might want to check them out too.

Sorry to butt in on this thread BUT I have what may be a silly question Are the 17" polished WS6 rims coated with anything? I'm curious as to what product, either Zaino or another company's, I can use on the wheel to shine them up well. They get brake dust / road grime caked on with in a day or two of regular hand washing and wiping down with a wet rag.

This Autosol... is it available at most average retail stores? I browsed the auto section at Wal Mart last week to see what type of cleaners they had and I don't recall seeing it there.
