CA waterblade users inside please!

How well do these things work? Having a black car I hate water spots, streaks, etc. Is it worth picking one of these things up?
Thanks for your suggestions!

Later,

Mike

Yes At least for the windows, I think the only thing better would be a leaf blower.

I gotta buy me one of these water blades...

The idea of dragging a piece of plastic or silicone over the paint surface has always scared me a bit though...

If you use one of these make sure your car is very clean, the smallest amount of dirt will cause scratches, be careful

Lightbulb

I used the Cali WB for a couple years when I had my Camaro, and never noticed it caused any problems. But, I was VERY careful and methodical in how I used it. Used on a perfectly clean surface, it will work fine IMO. If it had ever caused me problems, it would have gone in the trash!

That being said, I have not used the CWB for some time now. I mainly use the Absorber and some Microfiber. Works fine for me.

I've seen the absorber in Autozone as well and seem to see that name quite a bit. Maybe I'll give them a try and see how they work. Thanks for the help!

It's defiantly worth it in my opinion. It gets kinda tricky on the 4th gens with all the curves though

i just bought one and i am pleased it just takes some getting used to with all the curves and stuff but absolutely perfect if you can master it, i haven't mastered it yet i still have to go with the blade in one hand and the towel in the other.

The CWB is great. Using it on windows is a no brainer. But even on black sheetmetal it's great...just be careful. I have 2 black cars and I've never had a problem. But as someone posted earlier make sure everything is clean. I can't imagine anyone on this board blowing that part.

Between the water blade and the absorber I can dry my car in under 3 minutes with no water spots at all. Definatley a good pickup for any detailer.
