Post Bra problems...

On my son's car, he has a bra. Not listening to me, he didn't remove the bra on a regular basis. Today I go to do some touchup on some nicks, take the bra off and there's a white haze on sections of the nose piece, which is black. Nothing I have tried seems to work. At first I thought with the moisture being trapped underneath, it had soaked into the wax and was pulling away but that doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like its into the rubber itself and the paint has been affected. Any ideas on how to correct besides a new paint job? Am I missing something?

I was stupid enough to put a bra on the nose of my Camaro right after I bought it..then it came loose on the highway at 85mph ...paint got all scratched up from it flapping in the wind. I used a slightly abrasive polish to get rid of it, I think Mother's brand swirl mark remover (sealer and glaze as they call it) it took the marks right out, I followed it up with Zaino, couldn't even tell anything happened to it..

Hope this helps.

Two things, either the cleal coat has been rubbed away and is into the base coat color which will be dull or the clear coat is still there and just scuffed up, try a swirl remover like 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 or Meguiars Body Scrub.

Buy a good quality bra made by Perfect Fit. I have one on our Grand Prix GT and it has been on up to two months at a time without waxing or washing underneath. These bras fit so accurately and tight that there is little movement to scratch the paint. They also channel away moisture that becomes trapped underneath it. I'm going to order one for my WS6 that matches the paint color.
I had a CalCustom bra on my Camaro and it flapped and rubbed the paint. Never buy this brand that RK Sport sells!
Perfect Fit black bras sell for $90 plus shipping. Colored ones are $300. You will pay much more for Covercraft or Wolf and the quality isn't as good.
