Unhappy best way to hide spider web paint cracking and stuff like that on bumpers

Okay I have a burgundy, wine, maroon, red matalic,,whatever you want to call it color and its okay looking but there is alot of pitting spider webbing and cracks on my front and rear bumpers..I have used the red colored wax before and it hid the cracks okay..after 4 coats of wax on top of it..mow is there an easy way to get the old wax from the cracks..and aplay a simpler coat..USING auto store products.. I know Zaino is good but im going low key till the paint job..
