instruments blurs
Is there something to clean the plastic covering over the instruments in the dash
I have a blurry look over my temperature gage. It looks like it is steamed up or something. A rag won't take it off. What else?

Go to a motorcycle shop and buy the cleaner and polish they sell for the visors on motorcycle helmets. Meguires among other companies make these cleaners/polishes, and they are gentle enough to use on your instrument panel plastic. Your best bet is to take the plastic cover off the gauge panel, and give it a good cleaning and polishing. I did this to my old IROC, and the results were quite good.
I bought a bottle of Meguiars Clear Plastic Cleaner, and a bottle of their Clear Plastic polish.. and it works real well, and gets rid of the tiny swirls in the plastic, even if it just fills them in, it does look good.
Zaino's plastic polish (Z-12 I believe) works great for the guage cover. I also used it on my taillights and other lenses.
