Best Wax???
SO whats the best brand of wax/ polish...
ive used the meguiars gold class wax and was satisfied at first..very nice shine but the wax would not last very long..ex..you know that just waxed feeling where the paint is very smooth..well after a week and then a good washing i run my fingers over the paint and i hear "sccccrrrrrreeeeechhh" like its never been waxed before!!! SO WTF..is it coming off or whats the deal..waxing a car is not complicated and i do it right but ive come to the conclusions that this stuff must be applied after every wash..and i dont have the time to do that..
So whats the best "Walmart" Wax..what i mean by that is can be bought at walmart or other automotive places..

IM LOOKING FOR HONEST ANSWERS: will zaino give me that just waxed feeling all the time with out having to apply the Z whatever number it is after every wash???

Best wax? Well, it really depends on what your preferences are for a wax or polish. Are you looking for best shine, good durability, nice depth, or a combination of these?
I used Gold class for a pretty long time myself, and it does shine nicely but the durability is very short lived, say 2 to 4 weeks. The reason is all carnauba waxes are loaded with oils to increase gloss and slickness. Every time you wash or it rains those oils wash off your car and shine simply fades away. Honestly, I'd stay away from X-Mart type waxes. These are low end consumer waxes, not professional grade. However, if you must stay with store bought try some Meguiar's #26 paste or liquid. That is probably their most durable carnauba, followed by Medallion, then Gold Class. As far as store bought waxes go, #26 is about as good as it gets.
Carnaubas generally give a nice shine and good depth, but their downfall is very short durabilty. If you want maximum durability and a very reflective shine, you must use a polmer or acrlyic. Of course, I'd say go with Zaino since that's what I'm using now. ONE coat will last about 4 to 6 months, even through the rain and washings. The shine is also unbeliveable, it literally will blind you.
Zaino also beats anything as far as ease of use. Very easy to apply and a breeze to remove. That's worth it's weight in gold to me. I always had to rub my arm off with Meguiar's products. And, yes, Zaino is slick after every wash, if not slicker. The Z7 has some polish in it to help boost shine and slickness.
There are other systems out there though that you may like better than Zaino. Klasse and the new Blackfire are the two major competitors. I've heard really good things about Klasse, which is an acrylic not polymer, and a little bad too. Klasse will also last you 6 to 12 months on one application. And, from what I hear, the new Blackfire polymer has very good shine (similar to high quality carnauba) but seems to fade quickly in slickness. So, the choice is yours...
Of course, you can always go with a high end carnauba like Pinnicle, Blitz, or Griot's, but their durability is MUCH less than the polymer systems like Zaino. But, they provide an excellent shine, much better than any X-Mart crap. I'm actually going to try Blitz in a few months because of it's incredible depth and good price ($16). I'm also considering trying Klasse or Blackfire in the future to compare to Zaino. I'll probably try Klasse first....FWIW.
Hope this helps!

Meguires is probably the prefered "wax", but for the reasons you mentioned alot of folks use Zaino. If you are wanting cheap Walmart wax, you get what you pay for.

I think in your situation you are a perfect candidate for a polymer sealant. I used carnaubas for over 30 years but after trying Zaino I was completely amazed. Gloss, slickness, evenness of finish ( no smearing), and decreased dust attraction won me for life. Try it you will not regret it. The initial investment is only around $60 but this will last you a long time if you can resist applying everyday. You will notice that things like bugs and stuff do not stick to the paint and wash off easily. As a matter of fact the Z7 wash actually augments the Zaino protection and shine. Detail with some Z6 after washing and you will not believe the shine.

For anyone who hasn't seen it. I found it interesting. Glad I have Zaino now.

And people fall for that??? HAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHA.
I guess if they told them the wax was worth 20 extra horsepower, because of reduced wind resistance, they would believe that to...
