Best thing to use to strip wax

The other night when adding tranny fluid to my '01 Grand Prix I dribbled a little bit on the fender. A little bit got stuck in the seam between the front bumper and the LF fender and ate away the clearcoat in a small spot along the seam. I never knew tranny fluid could do that to paint...I thought it was like oil! So now, I threw a couple coats of wax over it to protect it, but decided I want to chip the rest of the loose clear along the seam and throw some touch up paint over it to prevent the clear from chipping further.

What should I use to strip the wax I just put on?

Dawn, claybar, 3M Wax and Adhesive remover, rubbing alcohol, light polish, etc.

Every car I prep I wash with dawn, then wash with another carwash solution and claybar it. Ive never had any residue with the exception of bugs and tar survive that.

For a quick wipe down, I use denatured alcohol.
