303 Aerospace Protectant. Best stuff I've ever used. Repels dust, gives a nice luster, and isn't slick. You can even use it on your steering wheel.

303 aerospace is extremely nice even if its a bit expensive. It wont damage your pieces either as ArmorAll is rummored to.

Re: armor all for dash

I've used armor all since I was 16, now 23, Never ruined any of my dash's and I've used it on all my car's...

I must say I used some samples of the 303 stuff as well..

The aerospace 303 stuff does leave a nice shine as well, But I wont stop using my regular armor all wipes....

Re: armor all for dash

i use the megs dash and trim foam. leaves the dash clean and not too shiney. there is a shine to it, but not as annoying as armor all.

Re: armor all for dash

Its beleived that Armor All may hurt your interior in the long run but I dont think its ever been proven. Basically, the oils and other substances can cause increased heat and sun damage on sensitive areas like our dashes. Some also believe that it can actaully cause deteriation (spelling?) of the interior surfaces. Some say it will only hurt leather, or cloth, or some say it can harm everything. Believe what you like from this.

The Meguirs is good stuff and I like it better than the armor all but I really cant justify the price. 303 aero is GREAT to use (originally used by the military for jets I beleive) but it is pricey.

Personally, I simply use cleaner on my cars. I wont use anything that makes it "shiny."

Re: armor all for dash

can't justify the price ?? on which megs product ?? just wondering. the bottle of foam, is like 4.99 but i can use it for tons of cars. my bottle lasted me a year or so, and that using it on my car every or every other week. plus mom and pops cars plus 10-20 cars i detailed. i'd say it is worth it, just some FYI for the original post-er.

if you do decide to change products, make sure you clean your dash of the old armor all completely before applying new stuff

Was looking at that site and sounds nice and all,,,then I saw the before and after thing with the plexiglass...c'mon, we all know that the buffer and rubbing compound made it clear again!! Anywho, I got a free sample coming. Guess I'll try that first before buying a 16oz bottle. How much is that anyways? U all make it sound like it's 20 bucks or something higher.

Thumbs up Re: armor all for dash

Close, try $60 a gallon. About 22 for 32oz and about 16 for 16oz!!....Well, I couldn't wait for the free samples to come and just bought the 32oz to try it out. I applied it on my dads 85 Voyager. I "Armor All'ed" it a week agon on the dash and it didn't shine it up much. I just applied the 303 on the dash and it made it hella shiney. I put it on the vinyl on the armrest and side of the seat and it made it look newer, I applied some to my friend's seat on his boat and it made it look pretty new. No weird high shine and no greasy feel. Not bad stuff. I'm gonna try it on the 'maro and see how shiney it gets. If it's not that shiney, I might put some on the dash panel (the one with the w/s vent). So far seems better than Armor All
