Anyone paint the blackout panels under the LT1 body style headlight areas?

Mine have these unattractive areas bubbling up on the black panels in front of/underneath the headlights. Does anyone know of a tutorial on prepping that surface, what kind of paint on this plastic surface, etc?
If so, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks!
Dave

For some reason those bubbles are incredibly common. They are slightly yellowish and only in the corners right? They are really common in the foglight area as well.

They are in the corners where the boxing changes from horizontal to vertical. Mine are kind of black and gray. Ugly....

I don't know how to prep them, but you might want to take off the frames that hold the headlights on and paint them at the same time if you are going to go through the trouble of painting.

Better remember to use some clearcoat, because as I'm sure you know, putting those headlight frames back on (or even just taking them off) scrapes the headlight buckets/raccoon eyes you're wanting to paint in the first place.
