Any write-ups on how to use an orbital buffer?

I have a new orbital buffer I got for Christmas. Are there any websites out there that can show me how to properly use it? I don't want to burn my paint or anything.

It is impossible to burn paint with an orbital because the head does not spin, it only makes small side to side motions.
