1st application of zaino

okay I got the zaino kit. waiting for the weather to clear up to apply it. but got a question. 1st i wash the car with dawn, then I claybar it using the Z7 w/ water as a lubricant when Im claybar'ing things. then i wash the car with Z7, then I use the ZFX/Z2 as a 1st coat.........then what? Z6 then another coat of ZFX/Z2, then Z6. then ZFX/Z5, then Z6 again, then ZFX/Z2? as a final coat?

or should i ZFX/Z5 1st coat, then Z6, then ZFX/Z2, then Z6 again?

also when claybaring, how much force to use?

thanks in advance for your help.

I'd use the ZFX/Z-5 for the first couple of coats. Use the Z-6 between coats. Finish off with a coat of the ZFX/Z-2. The Z-2 and Z-5 are completely interchangeable.

Use minimal force when claybarring, the clay pulls the contaminants off the surface, no need to rub hard. Knead the clay alot and flatten to a pancake shape to clay. Use ALOT of lube, clay the area until smooth, clay on a cool surface, rinse each area when finished. Rewash after completely claying the car.

well i did it, wash with dawn, clayed it, wash with Z-7, 2 coats of Z-5/ZFX and 1 coat of Z-2/ZFX, with Z6 after each coat. and Z-2 on the chrome rims for good measure. I never knew mystic teal could be so sweet, the colors look so much richer and cleaner, and my car feels sooooo smooth to the touch. Anyway thanks for the help. I'll keep washing her every few weeks to add some more layers to it.
