10" orbital buffer

Can you achieve a swirl-less finish?
I have found a 3000rpm unit and it is much cheaper than the Porter Cable unit.
I would think that with the same action I could achieve the same resaults, maybe at a slower rate. Any thoughts?

Re: 10" orbital buffer

The PC goes up to 6000 opm (orbits per minute) and has a much more powerful motor than the cheapies. That is what makes it more effective and efficient.
