I got a Modern Musclecar y-pipe that was on my buddies 93 z28. It's a 3" y with a 4" collector. Fits great!

What kinda shape is this y-pipe in? Coated? It definately fits the hooker long tubes? Got any pics of it would be great.

The y-pipe is not coated. It's made of typical aluminized pipe like the mufflex y-pipe. It's in great shape. It fits any 93-97 fbody with hooker longtubes. I am going to clean it and with some silver galvanizing paint so it looks real nice when it is sold.

I don't have any pics of it now. It's in Austin and I'm in Houston. If you're interested in it, I'll be in Austin this weekend, I can ask Tony (my friend who has the y-pipe now) if he has any pics of it.

I just wanted to let you know that I talked to my buddy that has the y-pipe and he said that the driver side pipe has a flat spot in it where he went over a speed bump. Other than that it's in good shape.

I do have another guy that emailed me last night and said that he did want it and wanted an address to send the money order to. I should know something for sure tomorrow. I wil keep you informed for sure so if he falls through then it's yours.

Yea thats cool, Kinda shady in my opinion for someone to come in here and jack my thread when I am looking for one and to come and try to buy one out from under me when I have an offer for one. But I geuss that goes to show you the king of enthusiast we have here. Just let me know something. I did show interest but wanted more info. Sorry I am not one to buy something without asking questions first. Not trying to be rude and I hope you can understand where I am coming from.

I do understand where you are coming from. But I have been talking to this guy for the last couple of days also. This isn't the only board I put the y-pipe up for sale on. I had it posted on a couple of diffetent boards so that I could get as much exposure as possible and get it sold quickly. As soon as I hear from him I will let you know what the deal is.

I apologize if I made you feel like it's getting bought out from underneath you. I have bought and sold several items on here and have never had any issues with anyone. If I pissed you off, again I'm sorry.

I really didnt think about you having it for sale on other boards because I never seen it in the for sale section on this board. Not saying it wasnt I may have just missed it. I have a Mufflex Y-pipe (exactly what you are looking for), w/ the O2 Bungees welded in and the 4"-3" reducer welded on. $200 shipped.

 

Little more than Im willing to pay for a used one. Summit sells a y-pipe for my car for 199.00 new and combo motor sports sells a hooker y pipe for 179.00. Not really worried about the bungs gonna move mine to the long tubes. If ya will take 150 shipped Count them sold today.
