Rear Brake Calipers

Need both sides, the bleed screws on mine wont break open. Tried everything, they are rounded off now so want to replace. Let me know if u have any spares. The bleed screws MUST be able to open and the caliper has to be fully functional, thank you.

if there is a will, there is a way.. those bleed screws will either COME OUT or they will BREAK, if they are rounded off, then grind some grooves on them and put a pair of vice grips as tight as they can go on them and get them off......

if not, then i have some somewhere id sell you that are in perfect working order..

Re: Rear Brake Calipers

a quick heat of the caliper body around the bleed screw with a propane torch or acetylene torch un-freezes them. Done it a few times.

Yea i tried the vice grip technique and just tore up the bolt even more. I didnt, however, try to heat the caliper up. I have a torch i will give it a go here this morning and see.

Jarret, i will let u know if this doesnt work and i will just by em, thanks
